Unfortunately we receive a lot of "bounced" emails.

As from the 18th November 2012 it will not be necessary to MOT pre 1960 cars.

An individual who was contacted by a said “scammer” saying he had the wanted item this poor individual required, and without hesitation this person sent the money and has not received the item. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for this sort of behaviour, it is up to you whether you feel you can trust contacts from these adverts. We suggest maybe paying for wanted items via PayPal as we understand that they offer some sort of protection against this unspeakable act.

We are investigating the demand for some 1959 Mini Register grille badges. They will be 80mm round brass with real vitreous glass enamel infill with a simplified version of our logo as a red circle and chrome wording.
They would be similar to these sample badges above.
The cost would be £40.00 including UK postage with a small extra amount added for overseas orders.
There’s a minimum order of 50 which would be a sizeable investment from a register with no membership fees, we would need enough pre-paid orders to be able to confirm the order (6-8 weeks lead time).

1959 Austin Mini in original time warp condition
with ultra low mileage.

Purchased new in Johannesburg by first lady owner. She moved to UK in 1966 bringing the car with her. Used very sparingly over the years. After her death in 1998 it was sold to a Mini enthusiast who also used it very little.
I bought it 12 years ago for my collection. Just used for shows. Now I need to thin my collection down a bit, hence the sale.
Totally original car ready to go. Has good original South African interior which is very rare along with rubber floor covering.

I have entered it in Classic Car Auctions at the NEC Restoration Show in March.

Please note that we can only supply the material, we do not arrange fitting.

We have at last managed to get some seating vinyl reproduced with the grey fleck pattern.
It is 1.2 metres wide and costs:-

£78 per linear metre including UK mainland postage.

It is available in any length (buy the linear metre) and is suitable for both seats and door cards.
We have had a number of enquiries via the website and in particular Facebook asking how much material is needed to do a particular Mini. Unfortunately we do not have this information to hand as there are quite a number of variations which apply to the early Mini.
You will need to measure your requirements before proceeding with an order.

Basic interior cloth.
This cloth was fitted to the standard model (known as the basic) of Morris Mini Minor and Austin Seven from 1959 until the end of 1961. It was also fitted to some De-Luxe spec export cars, mainly North America and Canada. It was also used in the Works rally cars on seats and door bin pads.
