From time to time we email people who have registered their cars for invites to shows etc.
Unfortunately we receive a lot of "bounced" emails.
Would you be sure to send us an update if you change your email address via the contact form please?
This is the only way we can communicate with you.

Mini Shows Gallery 2016

NEC 2016

Classic Motor Show NEC 2016

We were kindly invited by the British Mini Club to share their stand with a 1959 Mini.
It was a great interesting show with all the Mini clubs grouped together in Hall 2.
Great to meet up with many 59 Mini owners throughout the weekend along with many other people.
To names a few there were Per Rasmussen from Denmark, John Reymondes from Greece as well as many of the UK guys.

Castle Combe 17th September 2016

As usual Bath Motor club attended the Annual Castle Combe Mini-day on 17th September 2016

It turned out to be a very nice day both weather wise and general interest in the cars and I was able to get a couple of 59's to attend on our stand.
My September 59 Morris Mini Minor 432 WMH and Bill Fairney exhibited his November Morris Mini Minor GHC 874.
I was hoping that David Sparks might turn up with his November car to make 3 cars but he was not to seen during the day.

Both cars as they are locally owned were driven to and from the event. Bill took his car GHC out twice onto the track for the parade laps.

Gaydon BMC & Leyland Show 2016

This year we shared a stand with the Mini Traveller and Countryman register.
We had three 1959 cars, they were from Jerry Pennell, Stuart Keeping and Malcom Speirs.
It was a good show featuring a good selection of BMC & BL vehicles as well as Minis.

Amazingly the weather was fantastic.
Also it was interesting to be able to look around the newly opened collection centre as well as the refurbished museum.

Himley Hall 8th May 2016

Another brilliant day at BMC’s Himley Hall show this year with 6 cars on display. We also had a 1959 Mini Moke prototype in fully restored condition.
The weather was exceptional, wall to wall sunshine which brought a lot of people to this popular show.

A steady stream of people visited the 1959 Mini Register stand all day including the Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley, both showing a keen interest in the 1959 Minis on display. Our ex Longbridge man Keith Woodfield was on hand again, he fed the enthusiastic visitors with his wealth of knowledge and his extensively documented folders on all things Austin and Mini in particular.

A great show as always in a wonderful setting.
